It is quite a lot bigger than I first imagined but works well with corks. I tried it with some dry corks and others that were fragile and it was very good. However, I failed miserably to get the prongs down the side of a plastic cork. I wasn't patient enough to try for long before getting my Butler's Friend to do the job.
