A nice, decently priced wine at last.

Well its that time of year again, as in Samui Regatta week and I get a week of free drink and food. Last year one of the sponsors was Mont Clare wine. This year we have Berri Estates. Still part of the Mont Clare group but whereas that wine is from S Africa the Berri Estates is Australian. Both the red and the white are very good and at 290 a bottle or 625 for a 3 litre box reasonably priced as well. Evidently available at Tesco and Makro and are doing a deal with 7/11 to get it into their shops.
Last year the beer sponsor was Singha and this year it is Asahi. A bit too dry for my taste but as its free it goes down very well The Asahi girls are cute as well
Treat everyone as a complete and utter idiot and you can only ever be pleasantly surprised !

The Mont Clare has been here for ages. The red is a robust 14% alcohol as well, so it's great for drinking alfresco, preferably out of a cracked mug, around a burning oil drum with other homeless people.

As said had lots of both the red and the white Mont Clare last year but much prefer this one. If I remember right the white is 11.5 and the red 13 but don't hold me to that as the memory goes a bit hazy when the drinks get mixed
