My first plane ride was in a Harvard (North American T-6) trainer. Uncle was a pilot in the RCAF.

    Was it ever on time?

DC 4 Skymaster, the ultimate, but check out the flight attendant. This baby was as new as they came, and dedicated to ARAMCO, it was later joined by the Gazelle which was a DC 6B that I already posted. This thing was flash.

    Eclectic crowd dont you think?

Next up was perhaps the most innovative airplane ever built the British Comet. Flew this thing about a month before the first one blew up due to massive decompression.

Then came the DC 6, here is the " Flying Gazelle" that I used to come home from Arabia on. It had beds that folded out made by Pullman, quite the nice journey.

Aramco eh..I read that they flew gold and workers to Saudi arabia on those Aramco planes.

Me too. My friends dads freind had one. I was like 13 years old. We were flying and out of the blue, the pilot grabbed an air horn and hung it out the window and let it rip. To this day, I have no idea why he did this

No, but I sat in the Queens official seat in one and sat in the cockpit.
