Bollocks Slap, it's like comparing the Premier League to the Moldovian 4th division (if there is such a thing).

Watched season 1 and gave up. Crap actors, predictable story lines. Wasted about 6 dvd's on that shite.

The precursor to The Wire. Cutting edge to reality cop stuff. Also taking place in Baltimore with super blues music. Never knew why it went off the air. so many of its actors went on to different cop shows however.

American Television as well its sister Movies are mostly info-mercials playing to the liberals view of the new world order. Shows like Homeland are prime examples of this. Bogus from beginning to end.

For news and financials I turn the sound off and read the tickers. No need to listen to the talking heads. The News show that came out of HBO was one of the best examples of selling the message. Watched 2 minutes and optioned the remote, I'm outa here, click!

it's over rated IMO, unless you are a pothead and drugs is your thing

the first 2 seasons had an interesting angle, and it was all about camera angle and strange situations, not plots or story lines.

it's gone to shit now to be honest,

it's a teenager pothead series and some adults might enjoy it because it reminds them of their teenage years

Homeland is an awesome show, Season 2 is great

the obsession is perfectly appropriate, a CIA analyst obsessed with terrorism and the protection of the Homeland falling in love with an American terrorist as they have so much in common

    it can't be more iconic,

I bought the obsession angle due to what is revealed about her character (trying not to toss out any spoilers here)- Claire Danes is also fantastic (when I saw she was cast I first thought she was a terrible choice, but I was completely wrong)- I probably won't start season 2 until it's concluded, and then watch it all over a week or so- season 1 was great, and I really enjoyed it.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
