Thread: Killing Me Softly

After living in Australia and then moving to Thailand, one gets an
overall picture of the world as though your sitting in a grandstand on
the 50 meter line.
Now that i'm quickly approaching 60, i've learnt a couple of things
about life, firstly i know if there is a will , I want to be in it.and
also the last thing I want to do is hurt you. But it's still on my list.
. Since light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright
until you hear them speak,and If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.
We never really grow up, we only learn how to act in public,mostly.
War does not determine who is right - but who is left and they begin
the evening news with 'Good Evening,' then proceed to tell you why it
isn't.
To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism. To steal from many is
research.
Buses stop in bus stations. Trains stop in train stations. On my desk
was a work station, where if i stopped, a lot of people got nowhere.
I also thought I wanted a career. Turns out I just wanted money.
In filling out an application, where it says, 'In case of emergency,
notify:' I now put 'DOCTOR.'And also I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you. and women will never be equal to men until they can walk down the street with a bald head and a beer gut, and still be called sexy.

Money can't buy happiness, but it sure makes misery easier to live
with and as well there's a fine line between cuddling and holding someone down so they can't get away.
I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure,and you're never too
old to learn something stupid.
To be sure of hitting a target, shoot first and call whatever you
hit, the target.Nostalgia isn't what it used to be but change is inevitable, except
from a vending machine. and i was always was taught i'm supposed to
respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find
one now.So what is it i've really learnt? I've learnt that life is all
for fuckall in the end and this life is no dress rehearsal for another
one.What is life i hear you ask, well in my opinion it's a fantastic
way of killing time. (KILLING ME SOFTLY)
