Wife's aunt was up in the hills two weeks ago and found a dog with puppies. Knowing they would surely die up there she took them in. We picked out one and he is doing great. So.... meet Stormy our new building inspector.

You Make Your Own Luck
He looks cool. We've done the same thing a few times now.
Should be called Lucky .
Well done lazer.
Thanks. He is all play and sleep at this point. Amazing how much joy you can get seeing a puppy take a dump in the right places. First few days here he was ravenous but doing much better now. Bonding with us has been quick.
Nice one, lazer. Hope the dog is healthy and you get on well.
Just got back from the vets, my dog was infested
with ticks (he's immune to their toxins) but they
love his blood, so the doc gave him an anti tick
shot + another needle for heart worms.
I had him in the back of the pick-up out the front
of the vets, and there on the concrete, all zonked
out were a dozen kittens, they had all been desexed,
what a sight that was , I found out they were from
the local hospital, and they were multiplying at too fast
a rate (wish I had my camera ).
The best part was it only cost me 250 baht, not $250
as it would back in Oz
The little fella looks great.
You got a new dog and I got a new granddaughter so it has been a good week for both of us mate.
someone here{uk} just spent £8,600 for a welsh collie.
^You can get an actual Welsh person for less than that.
Lovely looking pup lazer.
The one thing I really miss about England is leaving my 3 year old Shar Pei bitch who is doing well living with my parents at present.
My 16 year old daughter doesn't have the same wet nose or chirpy attitude in the morning, hence she comes in at a close number two.
Landlubber.
Looks like a cute little fella.
Watch for the early signs of the skin disease that is present everywhere on Thai feral dogs. It does not show up until 12 to 30 weeks then gets really ugly fast and have read it can be transmitted to humans causing skin rashes and such. Soi dogs are notorious for the ailment which ultimately kills them due to infection.
^ You talking about mange ?
It is easily cured
Judging by his paws, i dont think he will grow too big.
How big is the mom ?
He is a cute little bugger
Meet Shiver, this is demodex mange
Before he was found living in drains, in a bad way:
And After treatment and a lot of love and care

Dillinger.... Hard to believe it is the same dog. Good on you guys.
that is a great escape for himOriginally Posted by Dillinger
trouble is, there are thousands more just like him not being looked after
we have just lost another dog on the farm - this time from poison
the locals put it everywhere to kill rats and the dogs eat it
the farmer's wife is heartbroken (again) and says she can't have any more dogs
we have two left
I have reported your post
Mom was medium sized and I think you are right about Stormy not going to be too large. He has cute really well nailed. He'll see the vet this week for shots, a check-up, and to make an appointment to get tutored. (Love that old Far Side cartoon of a dog telling his pals he is off to the vet to get "tutored"! Will post it if I can find it.)
Jeez at least wait until he's got a few notches on his bed post!Originally Posted by thailazer
It's all well picking up a cute puppy. Just remember, a pet is for life.
A few more photos: Top Woofer winds down next to Sub Woofer after a hard day of play. Also a decades-old photo of my best hunting pal ever. Found her at the pound and she had Parvo so bad she nearly died. Still remember the vet injecting fluids into her stomach lining to keep her hydrated as she lay unresponsive for several days. A few years later, she would always beat out the papered labs.
