    Felix said. "visor fogging, I repeat, visor fogging"

    For breaking the sound barrier, the visor was a critical piece so I think they aborted the speed of sound.

    He's already started slowing down before he pulled his chute. I think he was pretty close to the speed of sound, 768mph, on the estimated speedometer.

    When he started spinning I thougt for a moment it was going critical. But he was able to handle it. Great performance.

    He pulled his chute early so not the record in free fall but still great. We will have to wait on the speed. What was shown were only the estimates, not measured values so the ruling is out but it looks he was falling faster than the speed of sound.

    I got a tour of the Concorde supersonic jet in New York a week ago. Some of the technical shit is still fresh in my mind.. They were having problems pre heating the visor.
