it would be more interesting if something went wrong.
I wouldn't feel sorry for the fool

Brown trousers time up there, right about now.
Sounds like they might abort.
Hope he rides a surf board part of the way down. Bodacious dude!
Cowabunga, Dude!
That was good hope he makes it.
i thought he was dying... when they switched off the breathing...
he pulled too early ! no record break !
landed... hope he is alright, thats been quite some torture for the body, probably...
but the free fall world record he didnt break?
joe kittinger (1960) still holds it...
i think he deployed even 20 seconds early...
Buy that man a beer well done that takes a lot of bottle.
Nicely done Bum Garden!
Didnt break the freefall elapsed time record
this wasnt planned, he must have had problems, that he pulled that early...
He was dropping erratically there for a bit.
Highest freefall broken
Freefall speed broken but no confirmation that he exceeded the speed of sound.
some pictures........
He's already started slowing down before he pulled his chute. I think he was pretty close to the speed of sound, 768mph, on the estimated speedometer.Originally Posted by socal

hm...
a 50 year old world record - must be a rare thing...
When he started spinning I thougt for a moment it was going critical. But he was able to handle it. Great performance.
He pulled his chute early so not the record in free fall but still great. We will have to wait on the speed. What was shown were only the estimates, not measured values so the ruling is out but it looks he was falling faster than the speed of sound.
That's pretty much exactly what most people think when they see your youtube video of you riding through the streets of Pattaya.Originally Posted by socal
