It depends with our Gert if we are off shopping will walk to Big C Rama 4 takes about 15 minutes but taxi back.If we are going out for a meal defiantly no walking to the restaurant unless its a few hundred meters away from home.We do walk for a couple of hours most nights around 5pm nice romantic stroll in the park as the sunsets.
Mind you she can walk for bloody hours if she is clothes shopping at least its nice and cool thanks to air con.

It's deffo a Thailand thing. My misses never walks in Thailand but has no probs walking in UK. She even walks my kid to school in her gym clothes then jogs back! Mainly a sun/heat thing for her I think rather than lazy.

Look far to westernised those feet toes all squashed together.

Never had a problem with them, they are all mouth and no trousers. They follow you down the road barking, you turn, shout and run at them, they scatter with their tales between their legs.

Might get it wrong one day and they'll just savage me, but it hasn't happened yet.

Isn't that just asking for somchai to push your car down the hill/into moving traffic? Would have thought somchai wouldn't want somchai2 deciding upon the location for his car, but I have no idea of conventional etiquette in this arena.....

I was referring to the car parks in the basements of shopping malls here, have a look next time you are there. there's loads of them at it
