I actually have to give mine some kudos.
The other day we went up country and about an hour into the journey the missus realises she didn't shut the electric gate. She rang them and told them the gate was open.
When we got home that evening a guard was sitting on a plastic chair in our driveway, he'd been told by his boss to sit there until we came back!.

We have about 10 security guards at our condo in Hua Hin. We are told to report any guards seen sleeping to the building manager.
I reported one, never seen him again. Now when I see another sleeping, I say "sawadee krap!!" in a very loud voice. Saving their livelihood.

No pictures of sleeping security, however...........

We'd just signed the paperwork to buy our house and was talking to a friend about it, he wanted to take a look see, so on the way home from the bar around 1 AM we stopped off to look. Security guard on the gate was wide awake and wanted to know why we were there etc, my pal was impressed.

Next day we go back as the house next to mine was finished and ready to move in to, 1st to site office, then to the house, no security guard.......... he must have nipped to get his noodles.

The agent unlocks the door and starts showing us the downstairs, then the 2 smaller upstairs bedrooms, then the master bedroom with on suite, opens the balcony door and there he was...........security guard curled up asleep.

Couldn't even work out how he got there as the house was all locked up!!!!1

There was a security guard at Tesco Lotus at phra ram 9, his post was at the good entrance, I would come back after a few beers down cowboy, get off the mrt and walk past Tesco Lotus, the same secuity guard would be asleep everytime I walked, it was not that late either, about 11.30pm! No pictures though, next in Bangkok I may take some.

For many of them their entire duty is only to stay conscious. Just existing and breathing is not enough. You also have to consider that the safety of people and their belongings are dependent on these gentleman. I am certain that many of them do not grasp this greater concept. It is probably quite pleasant to do what ever is most comfortable in the moment guilt free and worry free.

I can see that your lovely Missus is there behind you propping you up once again Princey.

I reckon you would be lost without her mate.

I was at Sitara Place for 4 months this year and Meechai Mansion for 6 months last year. I like the Phra Ram 9 area, I'll be back again in March 2013 for two weeks.

Friggin hell Eddie, wheres your foking hair bro. Bald people are foked up Bro.

Lucky you never blinded any bastard when the flash went off.

Anyway, its good fun taking the piss out of the security guards that fall asleep but to try and stay awake all night when one has fok all to do is paramount to torture.

Give it a crack you bad boys.

I recon the boss should wire an electric cattle prod to there ball bag and zap the fuk out of the fokers when they nod off.

That will fix those recalcitrant Security Dudes.
