Having spent most of my adult life as a traveler and curious observer I believe I can spot a dyed in the wool German, Frenchie or Scandinavian.
Globalisation and rampant horny travelers may have diluted the gene pool, but a yank is just as easy to spot. Apart from obvious facial features, smell, mannerisms and dress sense, appearance and bearing are often a dead giveaway.

I most certainly can as I am Welsh myself. We speak English better than people born in England. Both my grandfathers would have lived happily as troglodytes as both were miners.

It's hard to tell various nationalities from just looking at them.. especially western people.

When they open their mouth and speak English i can distinguish, French, German, Scandinavian, dutch and Eastern European/Russian accent easily.

Eastern Europeans and Russians think speedos are still fashionable.
