    Frequency of black outs

How often does the power go out in your area during the rainy season?

It goes off pretty often up here in Esarn. Probably every time we get a hard rain.

    A hard rain.
    Strong winds.
    Every time the neighbor farts.
    When the flowers bloom.
Whenever the odd cousin electrician gets a bug to splice the "public" lines to supply his friend free power.

    Year round, actually.

I didn't know we were at war, so I haven't expected any blackouts. As far as power-cuts go, yesterday (or was it the day before?) for a couple of hours after the first thunderclap.

Pretty much every thunderclap and steady rain down here.

If you've got some spare cash, do what many of the large factories do and hook up to the high voltage lines and put in a transformer - only about 300,000THB last time I enquired.
