Unfortunately, without you being Dictator of the country, the savings wouldn't have been spent how you insist.

    More likely -

A few Eurofighter jets, some extra index linking for Whitehall Mandarin pensions - and (horror-of-horrors) some charitable overseas aid for Johnny Foreigner.

But we have millions of foreigners living here claiming benefits so surely we're super rich and can afford anything?

We have Somalians living in million pound houses in London.

Poles up and down the land claiming Unemployment Benefit

Possibly would have been if we had a democratically elected parliament instead of a cobbled together Tory / Liberal pact because of majority vote. I doubt very few of the populous voted for this outfit.

However there is insubordinance occurring in the ranks .

^ I'm working class Harry ,, so I vote for the working class party ,, not for the party thats gonna kick me in the guts at every opportunity they get.

Meanwhile back on the Olympic spending spree all is not lost ,, money has been saved because that poxy G4S cocked up the security the troops coming back from a 6 month tour of Afghanistan have been drafted in to do the job and are being housed on camp beds in multi storey car parks ,, more money to be saved as no electric in there .

Its ok though because the dignitaries put up in the Park Lane 5 star hotels will be whisked by in the Olympic lanes ,, so no awkward moments there.

After the fiasco finishes G4 will be folded up with the men at the top going out with millions , whilst those on the ground will be lucky to see their pay.
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs

^ which is symbolic of a corrupt system that needs changing. That fact has nothing to do with the Olympics.

The Labour Party aren't a "working class" party, they're a bunch of looney left wingers who take taxes off real working people and give the money to benefit scroungers, poofs and an assortment of fake foreign asylum seekers with their hands permanently out.

They aren't fit to run a charity shop, let alone an economy.

Mmm... The labour party have moved significantly closer to the tories, and are not really 'left' at all; they are however crony capitalist and use a variety of superficial mechanisms (such as social 'handouts') to cover their corruption...

Am I the only one that has no interest at all in the games ? I think that the only thing I would watch would the beach volleyball and it would only be for the totty and not the sport. I think I would rather watch paint dry or the Thai soap operas the missus watches
When does it all finish by the way ?

You're only talking about the Parliamentary Labour party. It's got slightly more loonies than that with fiscal power throughout local government.

You are correct, if we had an English parliament then the Tories would have had an overall majority and England would be in a much better state instead of being held back by the ultra left liberals. So we living in England haven't got the parliament we voted for.

That is true. The parlimentary lot do wield the major power currency though.

^ that's the problem, Nige. Crony capitalism has become a franchise that is very distant from the electorate. A social revolution really is required, imho. There is no possible recourse under the current thoroughly currupted system. Under crony capitalism, the only function of the electorate is to be zombieized by TV, video games and consumerism while all the cream is lapped up by an ever distancing minority of pan-European 'directors'...

The thing I really like about the Olympics is the pure and utter full on dedication by the athletes to there training.

Years and years of a daily grueling routine to reach the pinnacle of there game.

That's why they are the best in the world and only a select group of humans ever get there.

There all winners to reach that level.

The only viable solution under the current system is *their own kind*.

The Unions should stop squandering millions supporting the Labour party and start supporting grass roots candidates from their own fold.

The 'working class' should vote Tory, but most of the dumb foks just automatically vote Labour cause their parents did and their parents before them without even having a clue as to what they are voting for.

Not sure they should vote tory.

But yeah, people do seem to vote according which bracket they fall under. One would think it would be best to vote according to which option is up to the job.
