^Oh yeah, I vowed not be in London whilst the bloody Olympics are on, but may need to spend a couple of weekends out of necessity.

I'll work something out......although I don't recall any events happening around Stroud Green Road in Finsbury Park, maybe some more riots.

I should be free for that one, although I have no idea where that is. I'll look it up.

They say that ''if Thais eat there'' then it must be ok, and many Thais in fact do eat there, and there's a real tuk tuk on display as well by the entrance.

I'm hosting another dinner/get together there in September for a friends birthday/anniversary so I'd like to get the TD party going ahead well before that.

The table will need to be booked as well. A saturday night is the obvious choice.

There can't be many Thai places around there with a Tuk Tuk in it, I do hope it's better than last time I was there years ago!

Transport links, buses, tubes and trains are excellent in Finsbury Park.

It doesn't have to be a late one, probably better if it isn't.

To get to Kensal Rise from there is easy by tube or bus from Finsbury Park station or train from nearby Crouch Hill station.

Avoid west London during the Notting Hill Carnival. It's fucking overrated.

Pat I've just had an idea , does the aforementioned Thai restaurant have its own car park ? if it does then we could drive up for an early evening meal . I aint parking in any of the side steets and getting wheel clamped because of some poxy GLC parking scheme or getting me tyres slashed

Sorry lads don't think I could stick another month, especially coz of said egg n spoon..
