Thread: This is how to deal with car clamping scum!

Uni student gets his car clamped.

Posts it on his local forum.

Some of the guys know their stuff and the ins and outs of clamping law.

A bunch of them head off down to remove it legally.

Police show up, threaten to arrest them but when pressed for what laws they're breaking the rozzers can't actually say, and can only do them for criminal damage if the clamp is damaged in any way.

The clamping company was called to see if they wanted to come and collect their clamp, they retorted that the police have been called. They were then informed that the police were here watching them for the past 10 minutes, and would they like to speak to them.

About 20 years ago I went to have a beer with my uncle.

Parked the car in the west end at 6.23

Uncle says " Don't park you'll get clamped"

I says " Fuck off - it's 6.23" (its over at 6.30)

Sure as fuck my car got towed.

I was on my way to paddington pound with one thought in my head - If I can get the car out I'll drive through their fences.

Get to the pound and it's all bullet proof glass and big fat monkeys looking for an excuse to have it.

All over the walls were signs saying "Any damage to your car must be reported immediately"

Ok I says.

"You fucked up my car you twats, look at that ding by the right indicator"

Monkeys say

"Fuck you, it was there already"

"Now listen here my good man"

They fucked me for 175 quid - but I fucked them for 800.

Got my whole shit resprayed.

Actually, it's a private company. There is no 'parking ticket', the fee (120 euro) is for removal of their clamp.

I've often thought that if I were unfairly clamped I would get a tube of superglue and squeeze some into the lock. That way, if you have to pay to have it removed at least you have the pleasure of knowing they had to cut their clamp off with a grinder.

It does of course depend on the country.

If you do it in America for example, you'll do 10-15 years in a federal prison.

And if you do it in Australia you just claim native title and tell them all to get farked
