    Better questions :

She was living in India with an Indian man, in an area famous for it's hashish, how did she end up in Bali ?

She got caught in the airport and the police then set a sting to catch the rest of the gang , after she delivered the drugs to them Six days later !
What drug mule is allowed to hold onto the drugs for that long and on a small island too .
must have been some laid back drug baron....

May 19: She flies to Denpasar airport, the main airport on Bali, where customs officials X-ray the suitcase and find the drugs. She is arrested.

May 20: She is interrogated by drug squad officers who suggest it will be in her interest to tell all she knows about the syndicate. She agrees.

May 20 - 24: She stays at a hotel arranged by the police, when she reveals everything and agrees to lead officers to the town of Candidasa, on the east of the island, where Paul Beales is arrested.

May 25: Her information leads to the arrest of Julian Ponder and his partner Rachel Dougall,
Even if she wasn't the 'mastermind' behind it , she is still as guilty as them , just like a hitman killing someone is.

The drugs gang would have been watching her too. They know that she could have been allowed to pass through customs with a view to catching Mr Big. In this case they didn't wait long enough.

A British grandmother facing the firing squad for smuggling drugs into Bali could be sent home if the Government agrees to extradite a tycoon wanted over a £900 million banking scandal.
Foreign Office Minister Baroness Warsi asked Indonesia’s justice minister Amir Syamsuddin to allow drugs mule Lindsay Sandiford and a second Briton on death row, Gareth Cashmore, to be allowed to serve out jail terms in the UK.
In return, Mr Syamsuddin requested that Britain extradite multi-millionaire Rafat Ali Rizvi, a 52-year-old British national sentenced in his absence to 15 years in 2010 for allegedly stealing funds from Indonesia’s collapsed Bank Century.
