What's an average American and Brit? This conversation is about individuals unless you define that.

    From the outside?

Does the conversation still make sense?

Yer talkin' WHITE Americans and Brits eh?

    Racist pig-dogs.

    May Allah smite you.

    Does Allah smite?

I like to use 'Euro-weenies' on TD when appropriate, but 'Eurotrash' (while the term is certainly known) isn't in general use- we prefer to be a bit more specific and use 'Limeys', 'Micks', 'Frogs', 'Guineas', 'Spicks', etc (nothing as far as Australians/New Zealanders go), but generally without any real animosity behind it- I've learned way more pejorative terms from my time on this board than I learned growing up in the US (and, in fact, never heard 'Seppo' before I joined)- you Euro-weenies/Aussies dislike each other way more than you sometimes give us credit for doing.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

We use that for Italians (as well as 'Wops' and 'Dagos', though I believe the English use 'Dago' for others as well- I remember Manuel being called a 'Dago' on Fawlty Towers).

I think 'Jerusalem' would be a better bet.

Mind you the American national anthem is an old English drinking song, so I don't suppose it matters.

Manuel was Spanish; I haven't heard that insult Dago used for years, I know that the US version is Spics for Hispanics

Italians were referred to as Ities and Wops, although it was said that "wops begin at Calais"

but we all love each other now we are all Europeans and, more importantly, we have lots of new immigrants that can be insulted instead
    I have reported your post

I always wanted to settle to NY eventually, after Thailand

but the level of Eurotrash there is quite high, making them more annoying than provincial Americans

I know, hence my saying the English used it for other nationalities- it was definitely used more when I was a kid than it is now- 'Guinea' is more of an East Coast thing- 'Wop' is still the 'preferred' term.

'Wog' (for Indians and others from the same area, I believe) is another one I learned from Fawlty Towers (I had never heard it used in the States)- what an educational show that was.

^^ Wop has been replaced with Gumba.

Spic is kinda old too. I think Wets might have taken command. Beaners was probably the most common.

Good point. And despite what the british seems to think, you can mention the war in Germany but better not bring up the 1966 world cup.

They talk like those characters in Fargo. Fukin annoying. They do make good fishing bait and an excellent choice when the power's out at the rifle range and the pop-ups stop working.

In the 'international' parts of the US- NYC, LA, FLA (not the panhandle)- Euro's are fairly common, hence nothing special really. You only have to meet a few to realise they are nothing special . In the Heartland, Euro's are a a rare beast and are treated as such.

Yeah, East Coast gets the Euros and West Coast get the Asians. Except SF gets both. Boy, that's a Euro-friendly city.
