    The cleaner's wearing my sox...

Today I noticed the female cleaner at the apartment block where I'm staying wearing some sox I threw in the rubbish about 2 weeks ago. This was in the big bin out in the soi. I know they don't get paid a lot, but I wouldn't want to go into that bin for anything.

I also threw 3prs of underpants in there... I wonder who's wearing them. In fact I don't want to think about that.

Anyone seen any other clothing/stuff they threw out being unexpectedly recycled?

Is it normal to offer cleaners etc any old clothes you've finished with? Would save them the trouble of raiding the bin. Or maybe bin raiding is like a treasure hunt...

I often found members of my family wondering round in my shirts.

we threw stuff away in the bin outside, then the security guards from over the road had a look through it

if they didn't like whatever, the bin-lady took it

so now we just give anything to the guards and they can throw it away

Whenever I get holes in my socks I throw them away. The MIL finds them washes them and returns them to my sock draw...

I've taken to ripping them into pieces nowadays due to the annoyance factor.

Dad gets my old shirts. He also gets some new ones when the Midget buys me ones with some American bollocks on it. I'm sure she does it on purpose.

Yep, I cut mine in half length ways to stop them ending up back in my sock drawer.

Had to laugh! Got a handful of British polo shirts that the wife bought in the wardrobe closet. They were expensive and fit great, but just don't like the idea of wearing a shirt with a picture of England's queen or their flag.

Probably stupid on my part as the wife keeps saying "they are just shirts"...

I find it's almost impossible for me to throw anything out, and have it stay gone. Broken computer printers I threw out a year ago turn up in one of the older boy's closets, iron with burned out cord and other damage is found under the bed in the maid's room, even though it was replaced a year ago, etc. Plus, it appears that a lot of people around our neighborhood went to Florida State University - about the same time I did given the huge holes in the shirts. Eventually, you just give up.

When I first lived in BKK about 10 years ago I was still running some hard core porn-chat SMS services in the UK (totally legal BTW).

I used to advertise in all the top-shelf mags, as well as the Daily Sport etc.

I told the publishing companies never to send copies of the mags to me in BKK since I'd probably end up in the BKK Hilton.

Nevertheless, I continually received copies of 'Grandma Shag Bags' and 'Massive black' through the post at my condo. I would immediately bin them and hope that the authorities hadn't spotted the mags.

Some weeks later, I caught the cleaning lady with a couple of mags that I had just binned.

'They are sending them to me by mistake' I grovelled to her.

'Mai ben rai' she replied. I resell them in the market nearby. They are the best mags my customers have ever seen. Do you have any more????'

I have a favourite sock. You'd never put a crease in it

I always wondered where all those odd socks go, funny how many women think the tumble dryer eats them

I have trouble keeping the clothes I want. Hats last about a week before one of my boys borrows it. Usually someone from the village is wearing it not long after.

I always bag up anything I don't want and put it out for adoption. Regardless of it's state there is always some poor or enterprising bastard who will find a use for it.

    Now to another level..

I took some chicken out of the freezer and after four of five days threw it in the bin only to find it back in the freezer.

    Mmmmmmm!
