Picture size for a new thread

Yes I recon the lager size is unacceptable unless one is using a small lap top but most of us have bigger screens these days.

1024 x 768 as they only take up 1/2 my monitor viewing area.

But I can live with the 800 x 600 as well is that is the best that can be provided.

Not an issues I fell strongly about, unless that is, what DK made reference to and that would be not only for viewing improvement rather than for enlargement purposes.

That's the question mate as I can post the larger pics without losing any picture quality.

Its a lot of work doing a decent thread so thought I'd ask before cranking up my Hong Kong thread.

the 800 fit nicely, the 1024 go off the edge and you have to move the screen to get a look, so are a bit of a nuisance

I have a big screen, but if what Andy and DK say is the same for many then I agree the bigger size would be a bit irritating, the 800x600 do work just fine.

I like 'em big too so that there are less distractions and more picture. I prefer to go just under the 1000 though at 980 x 735 which is big but doesn't stretch.
