    Todays entertainment.....

    Todays entertainment!
My son is making a replica rifle from PVC pipes and and odds and sods after watching a youtube video.

We went out and bought some spray cans of paint so he can make the camouflage. On the shopping list was a "Hot Glue Gun" (150 Baht + 20 Baht for some extra glue sticks)

Well, the wife has gone out to burn some old dead monk at her mothers village temple, so we have the place to ourselves.

We have had so much fun today trying out the hot glue gun! for 150 baht it has proved to be an absolute winner.

We have been through the kitchen and glued all of the soy sauce bottles tops, fish sauce bottle tops, in fact virtually everything she uses to cook has been glued shut.

An amazing little device for the price, now all we have to do is wait for her to come home and start cooking - You cannot open anything!!

If she's smart she won't react and ask you to take her out to dinner from now on.

How much is it going to cost to replace all the bottles she throws out?

My Missus asks me to open most of her jars and bottles, although I can't open the crisp packets here as I can in the UK, they have to be ripped open. it must be super glue used to seal those fukkers

those glue guns are very good, for the right purpose

gluing jars etc may not be very good as they tend to be sticky and the glue will not hold

don't complain if you get bits of glue in your food, it may even keep your arse closed for a while
    I have reported your post

You don't know my missus! She throws NOTHING out! - I just have this vision of her trying to hack the bottle tops off with her machete.

Believe me, nothing is thrown out here unless I do it - They even keep the empty toothpaste tubes and empty shampoo bottles, as if by some magic these things are going to refill!

We have just painted her pull around trailer in a nice black and tan camouflage too, so I hope she will appreciate the effort.

Agree, but we thoroughly cleaned the tops first. I tried to open the fish sauce bottle .... not a cat in hells chance.

As for getting glue in the food, well I no longer eat what she cooks as she constantly adds that filthy shit "Pla Rah" to everything.

I'd rather take time out and cook something that humans can eat.

I have just been watching a documentary called "Revenge Of The Electric Car" Tesla Motors, GM and Nissan are all involved in this so called "Green" project to supply the world with millions of electric vehicles to try and change from using fuel oils to power the vehicles.

What I cannot understand in their warped logic is.........where do they get their electric from? Surely it has to be more efficient to burn gas directly in an engine than to have a company burn gas to generate their electric for them to charge a 250KG battery pack.....am I missing something here or what? There is nothing green in this.

My mrs never closes anything, nam pla, Soi sauce, brakfast cereal, anything. What a great idea to glue everything shut. Youll have to post her reaction when she gets back from her monk burning.

She got the Nam Plah open without any trouble (it was a flip top lid) however there seems to be some cursing going on as she is busy trying to unscrew some jars. They will get by in the end, when I lived with her in China she had no concept of a tin opener, she would just take the biggest knife she could find and hack the tin until it opened.

The boy is nearly pissing himself with laughter... you can hear the knife chopping at the jars in frustration!

I am in the dog house again as she didn't find it funny when I asked if the Monk Burned well, I was curious about how well he smoked and why she didn't take a bit of pork over there to hang in the soot!

Surely, Monk smoked pork chops could only bring you good luck.................apparently not it seems!
