Daylight savings time in the US just ended. Fall - fall back one hour; Spring - spring forward one hour. I believe the TD server is in the US.

Yep, 6 hours and the footy starts an hour earlier

Don’t forget to set your clocks forward by one hour on Sunday 25th March 2012, officially the start of British Summer Time. We may be losing an hour in bed but with extra daylight in the evenings and a long summer ahead, there’s plenty to look forward to after the clocks go forward.

Officially Spring starts on the 21st of March in most peoples worlds, but then that's called an equinox. Unfortunately that has nothing to do with "daylight savings time," or servers for TD being in the USA. What rubbish.

I used to love that extra hour of sleep when I was a kid (and I used to hate the 'loss' of an hour in the autumn).

never made any diffference to me, but my parents were not pleased if I woke them an hour earlier for a few weeks

Indeed. You can probably count the countries that observe this clock fucking thing on one hand.....naturally, all have conceded to this very American manner of changing time around which has nothing to do with anything.

Over 70 countries utilize some form of "daylight saving time".

Germany and Austria in an effort to conserve fuel during WWI were the first to move their clocks on April 30 1916.

Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Tasmania, and Turkey immediately adopted the action.

Nova Scotia, Manitoba, and Britain followed suit 3 weeks later on May 21st 1916.

In 1917 Australia and Newfoundland Began the practice.

The plan was not formally adopted by the United States until 2 years later in 1918.

Hmmm... that would explain why I was always an hour late for everything (or an hour early- can't remember which).

    Whoops......

Yes, I know - complete bollocks.

It was presented deliberately and facetious....to create a point.

I guess some didn't get it.
