    And there are no decent beaches where one may bathe from unless North Wales is factored into the equation and who on earth would want that?

    ^ It was long bank holiday weekend close to winter, well! most cold countries don't look their best when its wet & cold, but Bolton had that hell on earth feel to it.

    The city centre has some nice buildings, the museum for example.




    Town hall not too bad either

    as posted, it has some great old buildings from the days it was quite a well off town, mainly from textiles - there are still a lot of the mills standing

    now, it has very little else to recommend it
