    Breathtaking spy plane footage.

Forget this is a U2 airplane and just enjoy the video clip. Its James May of top gear in the passenger seat. I think he got the ride of his life, and the view is worth the minute watch.

Listen to his comments at the very end.

The plane was developed in the 50's

That must have been an amazing experience for Capt. Slow. I was amazed just looking at the video.

    That was well worth watching!

Strangely, in those last couple of minutes, the very words and sentiments he used at the end were floating through my own mind before he said them.

    Amazing!

    This is all we've got.

Aye, if everyone could get the sort of treats that these decidedly average BBC tv presenters get that the British taxpayer is coerced to pay for due to the licence fee tax law, I'm sure the world would be a better place.

(Of course I'm jealous, that's the ride of lifetime).

I'm more optimistic than these sentiments, I think space exploration is humanity's manifest destiny, but I expect most of it will be done via tiny robots and virtual reality, just because of the cost of overcoming the challenges of the physics involved.
