Hear what you are saying, but the choice of schools and his future here is pretty limited to say the least.
I have transferred all of the Chanotes for land ownership into his name, so at least he has that to fall back on.
Maybe I am living in the past, but I remembered going to school when I was a kid up in the NE England, and I was lucky to have a decent school, however, I wasted my opportunities.
I just think that if I can give him the opportunity, then it is a small price to pay.
He holds both passports, so at the end of the day it is up to him where he lives, but I just would like him to have the opportunity.

I have an aquaintance here that is an English guy, spent 60K a term sending his son to the Chiang Mai International school for over 3 years, and they couldn't even teach him to read or write Thai, it was all just about the money, it is disgusting. Education here from Western interests seems to only be concerned with money.
