Thread: Which tourist group would you like to see banned from Thailand?

A simple poll, I don't need to provide a description of each group as your familiar with them.....

Russians, Krauts, Seppo's, Brits, Aussies and Arabs for starters.

just the loud ignorant ones from any set

none . they are all welcome as long as they are nowhere near me.
plus they make great people watching material when and if I visit the depths of patts .

I've seen a few small hotels and guesthouses with a sign at reception saying "Israelis not welcome here".

I can't remember where, it was a while ago, Krabi was one place........I think.

Americans civilians are actually fine as a group, they tend to be good travelers

Most of these spa types come on package trips and are horrified of seeing any 'ordinary' tourists, thinking they are above them.

That's bollocks that is. We go to Pattaya to play Golf every year and I never come home remembering the Golf.

In fact if it wasn't for caddies and carts, I don't think we'd ever complete a round.

What might be a desired benefit for the country would be for the Thai authorities to close off the country completely [a la Bhutan 10 years ago] to all incoming....and then secure a process of complete cleansing of some 95% of undesired foreign residents.
