    I hate Cockroaches!

Every night this week there has been a gang of cockroaches hanging out on my driveway and every morning there has been one dead one on the living room floor. We've never had a cockroach problem before and I've got no idea whats causing it.

Last night I picked the one that looked like the leader and kicked him in the face and all the others ran off. Whilst this was a fun short time solution, I think that they will be back tonight.

Has anyone got any long term solutions that are pet friendly?

Get a stranger to piss on them.
They will follow the stranger to their house and plague them instead.

Did you recently have a spider problem?

Hold the head honcho down and cut his head off with a teaspoon and stick it on a toothpick on the front doormat as a warning.

Roaches release an aerosol that is a respiratory irritant, so it is better not to mess with them too much. If they are suddenly showing up it could be because a nearby environment where they were has become hostile.

Someone told me if you tread on a cockroach, they release around 100 eggs onto your shoe to take home

Once they get into your house, they are a bastard to get rid of

    Cockroaches

Cockroaches have been around since the time of dinosaurs!
A cockroach can live almost a month without food.
A cockroach can live about two weeks without water.
Some female cockroaches only mate once and stay pregnant for life!
A cockroach can live for up to one week without its head!
Cockroaches can hold their breath for up to 40 minutes!
Cockroaches can run up to 3 miles an hour.

Make sure there are no skid marks in your underwear ..... might help

If not , then invest in a load of those cockroach motel traps and leave them in several locations where the little devils gather. Behind the fridge , behind sofas, cupboards and curtains etc. the more the merrier.
Although Bayon is not particularly pet friendly, you can just try spraying a three inch strip across the doorway. If they walk across this strip it will kill them ..... slowly.

Empty all bins at night and make sure to tie off the bags. Wipe all surfaces with an anti bacterial spray to get rid of all traces of food. Do not leave the dogs food bowl out overnight .... wash that too. If there are drains near the house, fit the nozzle on the bayon and spray down there too.

If you have neighbors who leave food out it can be a tougher problem to crack.

This little feller will eat up all your cucarachas:

Then he'll wake you up at odd hours.

There's nothing you can do, you're completely screwed. Can you survive for a week without your head? Can you run 3 mph?

    FP,
Roaches love wet crap, did they surface right after a rain? Do you have a neighbor with animals?

In general if you do not give them a food supply they will bail out.

They only survive about 5 seconds when you squirt that pink toxic stuff that the missus keeps under the kitchen sink (I suspect she keeps it to do me in one day... probably when I come home late and drunk after FP made me drink copious quantities of beer again...).
    Cycling should be banned!!!
