    Damn. Sorry to read this.

Bloody ridiculous, as they are "only" pets, but damn it is upsetting when they die.

    Know how you feel.

I still have the urn with the ashes of my first cat, and thats nearly 20 years gone.

Sorry to hear about your Kitty. Yep, best therapy is a new kitty. She'll find you.

Got a useless brother-in-law name of Miaow whom my wife's sister wishes would die - like soon but that's another story.

How old was your cat? Some can live to be 18 - 20 years.

    So I'm guessing about 2 1/2

    L&F

He had a better short life with you than he would have had, had you not picked him up. I expect the dog also misses him.

Time for another slow ride to Foodland?

This time get the shots at the vet before he gets cat flu.

Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?

L and F: I have eight for you to choose from if you fancy a trip - the youngest are about three months and they are in need of a good home.

My heart goes out to you, mate. I know how it feels (but with dogs rather than cats).

Losing a pet is tough. I remember when I was a kid and my Granny died after a stroke (and subsequent dementia); I was actually relieved, because she drooled and couldn't remember my name. Then a week later "Patch" our Jack Russell terrier bought the farm and I was like totally fucking distraught.. Strange.
Anyway, usually best to get another pet immediately after. RIP to your cat.

Sorry about your kitty. Pets have such short little lives and it sure hurts to see them go.

I still cry once in a while about my old dog that passed away last May.

I had to put one of my five dogs to sleep a few days ago. Old guy was in obvious pain, wouldn't eat, not even milk, and was hurting. He had been with us for 13 years. Most depressing. I fear our other old dog, a female who has been with us almost as long, isn't far behind.

Not pleased to hear it... Pets are a real issue because they can make you so upset when they are gone. I got two kittens from a temple, now they are about 18 months old, and if they don't come home at night (the male one likes to stay out sometimes) then I can hardly sleep - it's pathetic really...

Funnily enough I'm allergic to them. I'd have to keep my bedroom door locked, if Miaow had slept in in during the day I'd break out in welts and get short of breath - ending up on the sofa after popping an antihistamine. Still miss the little sod though.
