^^ You're assuming a clear mind without Hong Thong.

FFS... Pope just gone, I'm going back to a proper thread.

You should see my dinner tonight!

And what's Anna up to tonight?

^ The thing is mate, this is just so depressing.

I grew up in a house where test cricket was on 24/7, when it was on terrestrial TV, had proper music introduction and Bob Willis was skittling over those Aussie fukkers like, well, skittles. And of course there was your Dennis Lillie and Thommo... but the English never went for those gay mustaches. But it was a fierce competition back then. Can you believe that as a kid I got bored by the old man watching cricket all the time... you can't watch it for love nor money on the telly in the UK these days.

Anyway, I can't watch any more. While I've been typing this I think another couple of wickets have fallen... well done.

Congrats to you Aussie fukkos and well done daughter, 1000 Bt to your account. (maybe!)

I'm back working on the fence in the morning.

And the offers still open... I need a sandpaper experienced work force!

Well done, Australia. You were almost as good as we were terrible. No contest between the two teams.

Randy Andy will be pleased with the result, gets him off the front pages for a while.
The English public are spoiled for choice, they can get the shits with anyone in the side.

All this palaver with Boris, Nonce Andrew and Novax.

It's that fukking National embarrassment of an excuse for a a bastard Cricket Team which needs deporting the most.

We should turn the fukkos away

You're sending them to the West Indies. It's almost the same thing.

Very disapointing Ashes tour. While the tourists can take some excuse from the rigours of touring with covid, the Australian side was a cut above and the scary thing for opposition teams is there are others of equal talent not in the squad. Such a one sided series does not auger well for test cricket. While I am happy for the win, I dont believe one sided ashes series, considered to be the epitome of test cricket, are good for the game and the last two tests became a little ho hum.

The bright side for the Poms is they've been in mostly good weather with great food/drink touring a country their detractors back in Englandstan would all give their left nuts to have been in having the same treatment for the last 2 months. A fair trade. Now they'll go home and the press will crucify them till the next English team in any sport steps onto the world stage and another #itscominghome circus without a tent ensues.

I said before the series started it'd be 5-0, got absolutely slaughtered by our resident brittles for saying so, and was one good delivery on a rain-shortened day away from being correct. My bad

The last two tests were the most interesting precisely because they both could have gone either way.*

*Except, it was England and we all knew they would never win!

I don't think he walks away from a challenge, not that kind of person, if he did he would think he'd let himself and the country down. A couple of odd selection issues aside the results aren't down to him, he's unfortunate to have to live with the consequences of ECB development and format prioritisation decisions over the past decade.

    FFS he's had long enough.

Needs a complete clearout from top to bottom.

Let him concentrate on his batting.

    I'm watching it.

    Brilliant stuff.

    So close from all angles.

At one stage England were over 100/1 to win.

Until the last wicket ... into $1.20!

Win, lose or draw ... English Captain, Lassie of the Match please.
