Slowly turning towards the crims, but several twists and turns ahead I'm sure.

Bad light at the moment....40 behind, 5 wickets in hand.

whole series will be like this.....

A great morning's ashes cricket with the Poms still holding on.

That dropped catch could be vital (Hussey dropped by Cook).

    The Ashes

The Ashes is a Test cricket series played between England and Australia. It is international cricket's most celebrated rivalry and dates back to 1882.

A series of "The Ashes" comprises five Test matches, two innings per match, under the regular rules for Test match cricket. If a series is drawn then the country already holding the Ashes retains them.

The Ashes urn is reputed to contain a burnt cricket bail.

The series is named after a satirical obituary published in a British newspaper, The Sporting Times, in 1882 after a match at The Oval in which Australia beat England on an English ground for the first time.

Stupid game for poofs, no wonder the Aussies are good at it...

Where's the rain? A 250 lead with 2 days to play will just be too much - even if we score 500 in the second innings, the Aussies would still have a chance to knock it off...

true , gutsy call though , longer we bat on less time we will have in the second innings if required .
