Stupid game, for poofs; leave it to the convicts...
Stumps. What a good day for Australia, which is something that hasn't been said too often in this series. Mitchell Johnson was utterly tremendous, finding the swing that deserted him more than a year ago, and he's dragged Australia not only into the match but into a position of some strength. At stumps, they have a lead of 200 with seven wickets in hand, and will be hoping to push that advantage to at least 350 tomorrow, though with no rain expected and three days left, the more runs the better for the home team. England have to find a way through this middle order and keep the target gettable - remembering that they win the urn if they win the Test. Whatever the case, it's hard to see this game going five days.
BB left this off :rolleyes:Quote:

The ball-tracking system makes it clear the ball was hitting the wickets, and Watson takes a VERY long time to leave the crease. Is the ICC match referee watching?
NOT OUT
Hotspot shows nothing on the bat, the ball appears to have brushed his front thigh. (The TMS crew are confused as to whether the appeal was for leg before, or caught). But third umpire Aleem Dar judges that the ball would have gone over the stumps - so Billy Doctrove, who's not had the best of Tests, makes the "safe" signal and Smith is reprieved.
Bugger!!!!
NOT OUT
It looks very high on the replay, it hit him on the top of his pad... Virtual Eye agrees and Hussey stays at the crease.
Bugger, Bugger!!!!!!!!!
It's called humour, mate... It's a game for poofs when you're on top (oh missus...), and a game for real men when we're giving you a pasting!
No luck for England during the last 6 or 7 overs, before then the Aussies were in no trouble at all.
Can see the Aussies getting a big big lead then it'll be down to the bowlers; the Aussie bowlers have been the better of the two for the first time in the series; as we've all been saying, not too much between the batting line-ups; both can get runs. Aussies looking good for a win here, but they need another 150 then take a couple of early wickets, could all change again...
Good series building.
well that was close
Swann to enter the attack, has looked ordinary
i know its been posted earlier, but i cant find it.
can anybody plz post a link that has live video streaming?
its good to see the aussies bounce back and keep the series alive. this one could be on par with 2005 as far as excitment goes! c'mon aussies!!
The aussies have now doubled their overnight score for the loss of just 1 wicket, plenty of shouts but equally plenty of 'Not Out' calls.
^cheers!!!
We're looking toothless with the ball in hand; likely have a total to chase o around 500 or so... :(
