Seems rain will delay play, and Tuesday will probably be a washout, so no point in batting any more.
Australia can't win anyway, so nothing to lose.
Double postie thingie
Yep.
Just a hope that we get an hour or so tonight to bowl at them; tricky conditions for the Aussies; 4 slips, 2 gullies...
^ I had a deja vu moment...
(not aimed at Marmite, just the way the posts panned out...)
This rain is a disaster... :(
depends which side of the 'brolly your on :)
for an Australia win probablyQuote:

If Australia get get a draw from this( which truth be told, I'm not confident of as I don't think they will be able to bat for a full day if they have to) then I still fancy their chances of winning back the ern as those pitches will be the true test for the touring team. They have yet to face true 'australian conditions'
*resumes rain dance* :)
It's nil all dickhead
Australia can win back the urn 1 - 0 , 2 - 0 or 2- 1
I think you meant to say Australia need the win more.
Maybe you should go and lay down for a little while and think about it ;)
But these first two tests were the Aussies best wickets... so I don't see your logic there.
You'll get runs, but your average bowlers are not going to suddenly turn into good ones. We can get runs too, have good bowlers and are on a roll. Our SA's play well on hard pitches, we have 7 good batsmen in great form; you have some very good batsmen, but very few in form (Haddin looks good, admittedly).
It'd be nice to go one up, but we don't suddenly become a bad team, and you don't suddenly become a good team just be changing location.
Got any clips? It's nice to have a few beers and some good memories; not often the Aussies are praying for rain at home to save a match against a touring team of Englismen (and their friends). :)Quote:

195 of Australia's Brisbane 481 (top scorer), and 93 of their 245 (top scorer) in Adelaide.
Haddin in comparison has scored only 192 in total.
^ something like that :) H&H, both doing well in a losing team...
Yes, the irony is that the Aussies grudgingly played Hussey despite his poor form, but he's pretty well been their saviour with the bat.
Interesting listening to the comments from the aussies on TV, asking how Australia can perform major surgery on the team without it looking like England are forcing them into it.
I would have thought they wouldn't give a stuff, if it needs fixing, fix it.
I wonder if Ponting can survive if Australia lose this test. I mean losing three series to the Poms would be a death knell for anyone else, wouldn't it?
Shit & Piss might have to change his avatar.
let us see what tomorrow brings
