I suspect the Eng performance is a ruse, luling the Aussies into over confidence for Adelaide

^Exactly! So many years of bottling it after kidding themselves they could compete has taught them nothing, and it's not just Cricket they're shit at. But, far be it from me (or David59) to wind them up over it...

Anyway, this 250+ run lead is probably already more than enough for an innings defeat and with England currently paying 60.00 to win, anyone thinking they can do anything more than get unmercifully flogged in this needs genuine help. Meanwhile, a bunch of brain-dead melts in attendance can be heard singing the same song over and over accompanied by a trumpet and they'll convince themselves they've got the moral victory in this game, as they did singing he bowls to the left to Mitch Johnson when he led Oz to another 5-fuckall horse whipping and picking up the man of the series award.

Quite an unhealthy level of anger to habour for a country that has done everything to help the Scots

Correction on the price England are paying for the win, in the time it took to post they've drifted from paying 60's into 80's and I'm calling that unders.

A rousing and patriotic rendition of Rule Britannia from a certain pocket of the crowd can't be far off now

It’s funny, and by funny I mean predictably pathetic that there was no noise from the barmy army for the first 10 overs, obviously nursing day 3 hangovers and rueing the no ball chance on Warner yesterday. Then one wicket of a tail ender and the noise & trumpets start up even before Gary could get out to the middle…

The English emotional rollercoaster dips and dives quicker than a toddler with a chocolate sugar rush on Easter morning!
Warning: Be cautious if you are a fragile pink

^This whole singing thing has got me beat, 50,000 of them will joyfully break out into Swing Low when their Rugby team is down by 47 points with 3 minutes left on the clock too without realising just how retarded that is.

Jesus what a bunch of idiots....can't make this up

Andrew McGlashan has this update: CA have also confirmed that RTS/Snicko isn't available after a technical issue earlier in the game. Due to border restrictions they haven't been able to get the right technical support up straightaway so the match referee has decided to keep the DRS process consistent all match. RTS will be available in Adelaide.

^To be fair, there's no real need for Snicko to tell if someone's out or not when their middle stump has cartwheeled to the boundary fence.

    ^

some tight lines by the Oz pacers. Starc is hooping it and Cummins started well to. Be a miracle to get in to lunch without losing a wicket.

True! Jesus could arrive in the middle of the Gabba using a jet-pack and tell the Aussies to ease up or he'll put some more venomous wildlife in their country. Could happen you know..

Or in true Aussie fashion the Eng team could find their kit bags infested with Redbacks

actually it looks like they don't need to call upon their book of tricks.

Gotta be nice. Let England think they are still in for a sniff of a chance.

    Keep the series interesting.
