    ^ I forgot they'd introduced sprints this season: I'll go to Sepang again this year, incentive to go Sat/Sun rather than just the main race day

    MotoGP 2023 Sprint Races
    From the 2023 season, MotoGP will run sprint races on the Saturday of every grand prix event.
    This sprint race will take place at 3pm local time for each event, with the usual qualifying session happening earlier in the day to decide the grid for it.
    MotoGP sprint races will run to half of the total distance of the main grand prix. So, for example, the British Grand Prix at Silverstone consisted of 20 laps: therefore, the sprint race will be run over 10 laps.
    Half points will be awarded to riders in the top nine positions of the sprint races.
    In a normal grand prix, the top 15 riders score points in a system of: 25, 20, 16, 13, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
    In the sprint race, the winner will score 12 points, with the remaining eight positions down to ninth scoring 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

    No, it’s quite pricey for what it is. My mate used to log on n to play the races in the bar and the quality was flawless, but it’s just as good through my HDPrime.

    If I had to choose between the 2, I’d probably opt for a UFC subscription instead.

    I found a sketchy steam site with replays that worked but I'll give the free trial a run.

    I gotta do some transfers.

    Franco Morbidella seems like a lost cause. I was listening to a podcast and they said he might lose his seat at Yamaha before the season is done. Espargaro won Argentina last year so I'll keep him for now. He came on late in the race and made a pass to 7th. Then he fuct up and fell back 2. He was mad af at the end of the race. Vinales in the other Aprilia looked strong in 2nd place.

    Surprised how many DNF's there was

    Bagnania is for next weeks transfers. No point in turfing Aspargaro this week while he's the defending winner at this track and on the poll.

    During the Argentina race the commentators addressed this question, it seems not clear. Honda accepted the penalty and they were told that it must be served in Argentina. Then Marc missed Argentina through injury. Apparently Honda have appealed against moving the penalty to another race. Decision pending.

    I could have afforded Bezzechi in the # 2 spot. But he dumped it and didn't make Q2. Went with Alex Marquez instead. Gotta be different...for one more week

    And ...... I gave Bezzechi the kiss of death and picked him up on my team.

    Anyway that was the best sprint race of the year. The KTM is the anti Aprilia. The riders can live on the edge and make it through.
