That was a close race for the front 2 good to see Dovi giving Marques a bit of competion.
Next up Silverstone and the rumour is if it rains it goes ahead.

What a race at Silverstone. Marquez piped at the post by Rins who won by 13/100ths of a second. Marques must be kicking himself but Rins Suzi was better on the corners. Not sure if it was tyre wear that made the difference or just a better cornering bike but Rins did a great job. Anyway one of the most exciting finishes I've seen. Love Moto GP.

Better cornering I think. Suzuki was on rails the whole race. Rins had Marc guessing after his attempt to pass on outside on previous lap. At the finish, looked Marc moved to cover outside a bit and left door open on inside.

Fantastic race. Marc walks away with 78 point lead in championship. Pretty much a done deal.

Rossi and Yamaha still have a lot of work to do.

Sad state the GP is in. The Americans tought the Euros how to ride with a loose ass end. We dominated for decades.

Poor kid got smashed into by bike that didn't see him until it was too late.

Spanish motorcycle racer Hugo Millan has died at the age of 14 from injuries sustained in a crash during a European Talent Cup race at Aragon.
The FIM, motorcycle’s world governing body, announced the tragedy, which occurred as a result of a multi-rider incident at Turn 5 during Race 1.
According to reports, Millan was struck by Polish rider Milan Leon Pawelec, who was unable to avoid the collision.
His passing was confirmed at the circuit’s medical centre, where staff had made their best efforts to treat the rider from Huelva.
Millan had been enjoying something of a breakout season, arriving at Aragon in second position in the standings with four podiums along the way.
“Following a serious incident in European Talent Cup Race One at the MotorLand Aragón Round of the FIM CEV Repsol, it is with great sadness that we report the passing of rider Hugo Millán,” read the FIM’s statement.

Four rounds remain of the 2022 MotoGP Season:

Thailand Grand Prix 2022 2 October 3:00 pm Chang International Circuit
Australian Grand Prix 2022 16 October 11:00 am Phillip Island Circuit
Malaysia Grand Prix 2022 23 October 7:00 am Sepang International Circuit
Gran Premio de la Comunitat Valenciana 2022 6 November 8:00 pm Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo

Buriram: Italian rookie Marco Bezzecchi clinched his first MotoGP pole position on Saturday as he scorched his way to a lap record in Thailand, with title contender Francesco Bagnaia qualifying third.

It will be an all Ducati front row for Sunday’s 26-lap race at Buriram after Bezzecchi, 23, set a best time of one minute 29.671 seconds, pipping Spaniard Jorge Martin by 0.021 seconds and Bagnaia (0.104 sec). Bezzecchi also set another record: he is the tenth different rider to achieve pole position this season.

World champion Fabio Quartararo was fourth-fastest on his Yamaha.

Seven Ducati, one each Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda in the top ten qualifiers for tomorrow's race

Unclear whether the MotoGP race can go ahead due to torrential rain at Buriram.

Moto2 only out there for eight laps

Torrential rain caused high drama at the OR Thailand Grand Prix and it was Tony Arbolino who was eventually classified the winner of a shortened Moto2™ race. The Elf Marc VDS Racing Team rider had just passed Filip Salac (Gresini Racing Moto2™) for the lead at the end of Lap 8 around the Chang International Circuit when the contest was red-flagged.
After two attempts to re-start, Race Direction ultimately decided to award half points.
