    Paraguay- Spain

Seems to be a dramatic match

    2 saved penalties so far
Hasn't happened since 1930, that both teams fail at the dot

    (I can't watch it . Haven't got a TV )

I have seen nothing to fear for Germany from their Semi Final opponent Spain.

But in 2006 Italy became World Champion without playing good.

The great advantage of the German team is the low expectancy at home. Nobody would have been too disappointed if we lose against England or Argentina. Hopes for more are now way up against Spain but they can lose and will be treated to a heroes welcome back home anyway.

Sure, that is what Germans think and hope for, too. But to see any team play four games at that level would be a marvel. They have gained a lot of self confidence and a lot of experience during the tournament so maybe they can.

But unless Spain improves a lot, even playing half as good should be enough to reach the final.

Think it's Holland's tournament to lose if the truth be told.

Spain are nearly as shite as England, but they are European enough to stifle Germany and make the most of a shit referee, much like Serbia did.
I expect Spain to take them out.

Yeah, watch out for dark horses, dirty Uruguay. I'm putting a tenner on them to win the cup.

The consistent feature of this tournament is that all the "big" teams are dropping out when you least expect it.

ah the fokin tears are rolling.
those guys who didn't put the ball away in the penalty's will remember it for the rest of their lives unless they won the game.
the guy in ghana's team who had the chance and blew it will have nightmares for a long time.
is it just a game ?
