Brook appears to have Bradman type talent and it will be interesting to see if this run continues.
It will also be interesting to see if the Aussie bowlers can work him out during the upcoming ashes series.
England 435/8 dec.
NZ 1/1
I thought they lost it with the batting, there were a few periods where it looked like they were definitely going to get home towards the end of the game (including when they needed about 14 off the last over which Is nothing in T20) and they'd lose a wicket/momentum. Anyway, it was a good game to watch and with 3 balls to go it was still up for grabs.
I had no idea just how successful the Oz girls have been at this format. But it's hit 'n giggle where anything can happen and as you say the SA girls have the home advantage so who knows.
And here we are at 21/3 again.
Interesting.
Poor old convicts, I got another widdle wed from Willy. You'd have though he'd be happy about the South African laydees winning and all.
Damn, another one that isn't going to last too long.
78/5
96/6.
I wonder if England will enforce the follow on so they can get an extra day or two by the pool?
Sixth wicket gone...
*sigh*
My Crusaders smashed by the Chiefs last night in the rugby. Now this drubbing.
England supporters are well versed in this.
555
Bracewell! D'oh. Seven gone.
...just as Southee was getting going. I well remember his 2nd innings test debut of 77 off of 40 balls. Ah, good times. lol
^ That was a shame, but to be fair it's not often the rain frustrates England... usually we're glad of it.
Southee with an entertaining time at the crease.
England captain enforces the follow on...AoNZ deficit 226.
Forty without loss at lunch. The plan now is to hold on for the next two days, 555.
NZ 100-0, the sun's come out and Jimmy is looking extra grumpy.
Ordering sambuca shots at 3am was such a brilliant idea and I'm so glad I did it.
Meanwhile NZ trail by 98 and BT commentators are still clinging to the hope that they can get back into the game.
Hoping Kane can get his 29 so the England players can all give him a patronising fist bump.
Looks like the Kiwis will have something to defend.
