The jaapies won the toss again and this time they bowl.
How they deal with Nortje will be the key.
What an idiot, new spinner on and Duckett waits 2 balls to throw his wicket away - pathetic
Just what was needed from Buttler. 50/48
Now that's how to close out an innings.
A torrid start for England batting in the third ODI against the jaapies.
5/2 Roy and Duckett early casualties.
Malan and Buttler centuries helped England get 346.
Whether that is defendable the way they are bowling is another story.
Woke up to find we won easily, and Jofra, having been dropped for the previous match, took 6/40.
Next up: A couple of tests against the sheepshaggers in the back half of February.
England scored 217 in the last 20 overs.
I missed the match live and caught the highlights this morning. There was some fine batting by both sides. I had lost faith in Archer, I owe him an apology, excellent bowling.
A bit silly not to make him player of the match, really.
Even Buttler seemed to agree.
Long way to go yet. Be interesting to see how much he features in the upcoming tests.
I see Hazlewood and Starc are both unavailable for the first test vs India.
Australua 26/2
Warner's off stump cartwheeled nicely.
Smith and the Labuschagne at bat.
Really looking forward to seeing how Scott Boland goes when the time comes, they'll be going after him early but he barely bowls a bad ball ever in the few Tests he's played in Oz. We're an hour into day 1 but the track looks like it'll suit him..
Quality cricket here, without doubt.
At 2 fa 2 it looked like Australia were in more strife than the early settlers but at 2 fa 76 with Smith and Loosechange (arguably one of the best pairings in current Test cricket) at the crease and looking increasingly comfortable the game has changed.
Not much proven quality left after this partnership.
That should keep the Indians focused.
