Especially for Ollie Pope, who is batting 3 and keeping wicket.

At least when Crawley gets out having a swish at a wide one he can blame it on a stomach cramp

This is a Test and not an ODI?

This would have been the score at tea, the last time England played a test in Pakistan.

Declare at 700 an hour after lunch tomorrow should be the plan, unless when get to 170-1 and then lose then next 9 wickets for 32 runs

This is an amusing little read about England tours of Pakistan.

Leaking luggage, Minder and a PS1,000 bonus: memories of touring Pakistan | Pakistan v England 2022 | The Guardian

I was too young to remember most of the stuff in that piece, but I used to idolise Javed Miandad when I was growing up and, obviously, Wasim Akram was a hero when he was playing for Lancy.

Seems Eng are trying to keep runs between the wicket to a minimum

150 for one of the colonial favourites of the unwashed being Steve Smith.

I guess England can sit back in awe watching this master and hoping Root doesn't fucvk it up AGAIN, if he still selected!

Soo easy along with your pain and humiliation!

Your ancestral routes are deminished by poor performances and lack of performance even though your captain is a Kiwi imposter and criminal.

Eng could break 500 in a day but I think Pak and slow bowling will prevent that Sadly

Typical of the bacon sarnies though.

Remember that farcical end to the last series we won there? They were doing their best to drag it out until it was too dark but England were happy to carry on batting and it was so bad the fielders couldn't see the ball.

Pope gone but will Brook be happy to leave his ton until tomorrow?

And the 500 in <75 overs.

Fucking hell. 509 the next record to chase.
