I think Bollocks is a more apt summation.

Seems that their new aggressive approach to batting, although it worked against the Kiwis, was disastrous against the Saffers.

    Sack the manager.

I think they were rather timid to be honest.

It was still a pitiful performance.

Well why tf have we not had a test for six weeks?

If you wanted to kill test cricket this would be your schedule.

Dangerous sport, secondly only to TV watching. Big loss for the T20 WC

Jonny Bairstow: England batter ruled out of third Test and T20 World Cup

England batter Jonny Bairstow has been ruled out of the third Test against South Africa and the Twenty20 World Cup after sustaining a possible broken left leg while playing golf on Friday.

The 32-year-old slipped walking to a tee box and will see a specialist to ascertain the extent of the injury.

Bairstow confirmed he will need surgery on his Instagram account.

So, the third test match that England have played since the end of the first week of July will have no play today, and may be called off completely.

    Two matches since July!

What with this and the world cup in November splicing the football season in half, what a truly shit sporting year so far.

Oh well, we'll always have 'The Hundred'.

Felixstowe Phoenix had quite a year!

It seems to be just you who they are sharing their thought process with.

Anyway, what you actually posted was that three days of 'bazzball' would be unlikely to yield a result. That is pretty damn dumb regarding a test series that has so far consisted of exactly that.

A very special atmosphere at The Oval this morning.

Why on earth any sporting events have been cancelled is unfathomable.

    SA now 52 for 6.

It's becoming ever more clear that they need the police for something else.

You may see events cancelled next weekend as well.

Another wrong prediction! Great work from England's bowlers. A little less impressive with the bat.

Is it Test Cricket? when the pitch is more conducive to T20 and the players bar the odd one or two seem incapable of leaving a ball. I will admit i was wrong on the 3 days. Still those that bought day 4 and possibly day 5 tickets might not need a refund this time

England won by nine wickets. I suppose a win is a win.
