^ The Aussies didn't even play their captain and best bowler and still they kicked the the Poms arse by 72 runs.

I think England were 156 for 3 and looking strong when I flipped channels to watch the F1. When I came back they were all out with only 52 more runs scored. Fark!

^ Brainless batting and Billing threw away a great opportunity with no scoreboard pressure whatsoever

Rain delay - so Oz like. In a few years with our improving climate they'll be better off playing in Eng in Oct.

    England have been poor.

I've seen enough - off back to the veranda on this perfect day.

It's painful. The English bowlers seem unable to find a good length. It feels like the only question is whether or not Australia can hit 350.

    New ball. Hope springs eternal.

Wickets are like buses. None for hours then two come along at once.

As long as they get the TV and appearance money, I doubt they care.

Australia 355. So, to win, England need 364 from just 48 overs. Who made up these rules?

Even proper Aussie fans don't care. Lowest ODI crowd ever at the MCG, and that was before the rain.
