So do her friends, but they're all girls.
Actually the supporting in the Mendip household is quite conflicted. The wife for her sins supports Aussie thanks to her Aus passport, I support England and sadly the daughter with both UK and Aussie passports is one of these ABE... just to annoy me.
This is particularly disappointing since I cook most of her meals.
But I'll have the last laugh when I cut her out of my will! :)
Mr. Sandpaper scores the winning runs. I doubt England care too much. Probably still recovering from the hangovers.
Amazed they got that far tbh.
I love the banter. :)
All these claims of lack of enthusiasm and drive is typical from the unwashed lot and normally not made by their players.
Don't take my word for it (not the sybille ever does until you present him with evidence, then he goes quiet):
Still, some of the key players were given a few extra days to recover from their hangovers, so I expect a more competitive match tomorrow.Quote:
"As a group we want to enjoy and celebrate and have that time because you put so much into it as well. It's not just while the tournament is going on, there's the pre-tournament, the build-up and all that.
"Having a game in three days' time, it's horrible.
"As players we're kind of getting used to it now. But to give 100% all the time is difficult when you're playing every two, three days.
"We have to do it and while we're here we might as well do it, it would be better than going back and then having to come back out another time."
Players, who are representing their country and admit to not giving 100%, should be dropped as being inadequate employees and not doing their job.
Normally when games are played between the Convicts and the Unwashed there has been nothing but passion and the will to win and to smash the arch enemy.
Seems the present unwashed lot are no better then the premier league soccer players who sometimes perform and other times don't give a fvck or run out in front of a paying audience half pissed.
^ Typical response :doglol:
Half of Australia is under water at the moment Harry or don't you read the news?
Oh christ, he'll be off about his travels to some hill tribe hangout now.
No internet 'til brunch...
That escalated quickly
Australia decided to bat today 53/2 off 10.
280 for the convicts.
I suppose it's OK to give Roy a chance in a meaningless series like this, but at what point do you just admit you dropped him because he's just absolute rubbish at the moment, and start looking elsewhere?
Looks like Malan wants the day off, too.
I'm sure the crowd is even smaller than the last one. And it's fuck all to do with weather. Well, maybe "fairweather" :)
That ball to Malan was unplayable.
Aussie bowlers on song.
In contrast, Phil Salt threw his wicket away.
Well the Aussies just won this pointless series after the first 2 games.
For the third and final game lets see if we can white wash the unwashed again. :)
our C team? you didn't even have to cheat :)
