It’s really quite straightforward, harriet, but I’m not surprised it’s still rather too complicated for you.

England are now in a far stronger position than they were yesterday, when you were idiotically claiming the match was theirs to lose.

However it still isn’t ‘theirs to lose’, and only an idiot would pronounce it so.

bsnub is right … you are that idiot.

You were slagging off England’s ability immediately after asking what the score was.

    That was just dumb.

2-0 up with the possibility of a whitewash against the world champions of test cricket.

You were just being a twat.

Have you forgotten the Ashes already? The pure, optimism of the average England supporter after a single good game is both blindingly funny and ultimately sad.

It’s England you twit. They can steal defeat from the jaws of victory, bottle it at a moments notice.

    Every. Time.

Yet one good game, or a good innings, heck even a half good knock and all the English supporters suddenly develop collective amnesia and suddenly think they have a world class team and or have a chance of winning!

Fuck it must be exhausting to be an England supporter.

Every post of yours these days is like you've forgotten what you said 2 or 3 minutes ago.

Because you're a bit of a simpleton, I'll explain it to you sybille.

I opined that the Kiwi morale would have taken a dent having let England off the hook so badly, and that they were "there for the taking". In English, which clearly isn't the first language in Smethwick, this means that England had a great opportunity to win. Subsequent events have not only proven me correct, but shown you to be little more than a big-mouthed tit who frequently, and often amusingly engages his mouth while the tiny brain is still in neutral.

You really ought to try and find something useful to whinge about.

And yes, if England don't win this match now they will be disappointed, as shall I.
Warning: Be cautious if you are a fragile pink

Normally I would but this is a strange series and the number of wickets down doesn't seem to matter. All you need to know is whether Mitchell and Blundell have been dismissed for NZ (they are currently at the crease); not so easy when it comes to England, too many can slog the ball at the moment.

This game is still in the balance though and much depends on the morning session. If the game runs into Monday then the weather could also play against England. We all know they can collapse in the blink of an eye. We also know they can score at an alarming rate making this series an absolute joy to watch.

And as we have discovered in this test, all in the same innings.

^ 264 for 5 with Mitchell and Blundell on or close to their half centuries.

BBC has a live update page since you're on the internet...

Plenty of time to get 296 to win.

    This should be a cracker.

    Baby steps here for Crawley.

I didn't play to any kind of level, but I always set myself targets when I was a kid. Get to double figures, get to 20, get to 40 etc.

Once I got to 40 it took care of itself.
