The first England-India test match starts today with England somewhat in disarray.

Six months of chaos have left England's Test plans in tatters - Joe Root must be fearing the worst

    Terrific start for England.

I'm joking, they're one down with no runs on the board.

    Burns quack quack.

England kind of scratching around but Root and Bairstow might have established themselves at 115/3 after 45.

Bumrah is a curious bowler. His figures are so much better than his look.

There is still 45,000 Aussies wanting to return home to Australia and the Aussie Government has a cap on arrivals as they have to quarantine for 2 weeks on arrival in Australia.

So, allowing the Families of the Cricketers jump that queue isn't good optics.
The caps are not applicable to those sports folk flying in, so there is no jumping of the queue. same as when the QLD premier went to Tokyo and back for the Brisbane Olympic announcement.

Bangladesh inflict historic low upon Australia's Twenty20 cricket side in Dhaka

Australia have been dismissed for their lowest ever Twenty20 international total, capping another forgettable campaign with a 60-run loss to Bangladesh in Dhaka.

    Key points:
    • Australia lost the series against Bangladesh 4-1
    • Skipper Matthew Wade labelled the performance "not good enough" for any Australian national cricket side
    • The previous lowest total was 79, recorded against England in Southampton, in 2005

Chasing Bangladesh's 8-122, Australia lost 8-24 to be bowled out for 62 in just 13.4 overs in their T20I series' fifth and final clash.

Australia's previous lowest T20I score was 79 against England in Southampton in 2005.

The 4-1 series loss was the same result as last month's T20I campaign in the West Indies.
Australia have now lost five successive T20I series, winning just six of 21 matches.

Remarkably England have managed to eke out a tiny lead, mainly down to a terrific innings from Root.

Anderson was unlucky to be bowled out on last call of the day.

    Eng lead by 27.

2 days to go. Root on 180 n.o.

Btu Bumrah bowled 13 no balls. 3 or 4 in one over against Anderson. At what point can Anderson complain if he is out on a legal delivery after 3 or 4 bad balls in a row? I dont think the laws of cricket cover it, but maybe they should!
