I may have been overly pessimistic in my 80 for 7 prediction, perhaps India won't bat again. Fooking clueless. They showed some stats on batsmen playing right back or right forward against spin and those batting in between, only Joe Root matched the Indians and all teh other English were in between or in the danger zone. Its like they have never seen spin before.

Have to wonder about the retinue of coaches travelling with the England team.

I doubt they they have that SAffer Trot on the staff for his one liners.

Oh well...tour wins in India are rare. Just ask the Aussies...they've won once in fifty years.

Just leave Root where he is, possibly the Kiwi ring-in criminal can continue bail and continue his farce, Jimmy and Stuart can bowl their 5 over spells without serious injury, and you fucking soap dodgers can put up a decent showing in the next Ashes series.

Sybil..................We have the ashes..............Just ask the Aussies!

    Jimmy Anderson is 38.

How many five over spells was Glenn McGrath bowling in tests at 38?

    I'll tell you....zero.

    He retired at 36.

Still, he probably saw all that hot Aussie bowling talent coming through and decided he was no match for Dougie Bollinger.

Well England have shown the Oz what they need to do, just use two good spinners.

India could have won the last three tests with just Axar and Ashwin, in fact they could have just fielded three players in the out field including Risbahb and still won i reckon.

Oh well back to the UK and watch endless coaching sessions on how to play spin...again, they must be wearing out the VHS tape by now.

Maybe I should put up a thread about Britain's Got Talent to get you on the edge of your seat?

Or maybe you just need to accept that you have the repartee of a four year old and we can get back to the cricket?

    One win since 1970.

In the noughties, I think it was.

    T20s start on Friday willy.

    Should suit our batsmen better.

I would think so, I've tried but I really don't enjoy or follow the T20 much.*

*Having said that, I conceded the last couple of test series were not particularly much fun either.

First T-20 and i am not really a fan of the format but Eng knocked India over for 124 and a Kohli duck, 58 for 0 in 7 in reply. Supposedly the top two teams in the world

    Well I tried, but....

The side that wins the toss is just going to bat second and win in every match.

Its a forum Cyrille. We're all pointless wankers, unless that is you take yourself seriously for 15 years on here.

I am assuming with the time and effort you've invested on here that Teak Door will appear in your epitaph. Its just a shame cooking posts won't appear, the odd boiled tomato aside.
