I'm very disappointed in Dave's lack of reporting regards the women's T20.

^ That was certainly the kiss-of-death for the Thai girls. England didn't lose another wicket...

Well the English fast bowling renaissance didn't last long; looks like Wood and Archie are crooked.

Thai ladies v Pak Ladies and the Thais rack up a respectable 150/3 in 20...typical though there's rain. I'd really love to see them win one.

It's a shame rain stopped play, they had a good chance of their first victory there.

I wonder how many of them came through the Chiang Mai coaching program?

    Well played ladies!

That's disappointing, Eng Ladies are out of the T20 WC after their game was a washout. It was a Semi final and there is no reserve day ffs what a silly situation.

Same will happen to the Aussie Woman if their game is washed out making it a India / Sth Africa Final.

Game due to start in just oven an hour and it's pissing down in Sydney now.

Someone needs to get sacked. One of womens crickets premier events and we could see two teams on bys to tge final because there are no reserve days, is some midland minkie running the show.

How fucking shambolic that they never planned a reserve day for the marquee games.

Nice news item in these times of pestilence. Mitchel Stark will not be playing in the 3rd ODI v the Saffers today as he's been given leave to fly back to Oz to watch his wife Alyssa Healy play in the Womens T20 WC.

75,000 tickets sold so far for this afternoon's women's cricket final at The G. I would assume most atendees will be women and can only hope they make sandwiches before hand for the men they'll be leaving behind at home

Wagon burners are toast. It's a shame the English womens team didn't get their chance to be in this final due to a rained-out match, for sure they'll put measures in place next WC so there's no repeat of such bullshit but that doesn't help the English squad who'd be watching this knowing they could have made a far better game of it.

New Zealand cancels ODI series with Australia due to border restrictions over coronavirus

Australia's three-match ODI series against New Zealand began behind closed doors.

Now it's cancelled, along with a return series, after a tightening of border restrictions by the New Zealand government.

Cricket Australia reveals international summer cricket schedule featuring India, but warns there may be changes

    Cricket scores around the world-8208714-3x2-xlarge-jpg

Cricket Australia has revealed its schedule for the summer of cricket, but admitted there was no guarantee the final list would look the same as the sport responds to the coronavirus pandemic.

    Key points:
    • The summer schedule for Australia's men's and women's cricket teams has been released
    • The men's side will play Tests against India and Afghanistan, along with short-format series against West Indies, Zimbabwe, NZ and India
    • The women's team's summer will include an ODI series against India, who they beat in this year's Women's World Cup final

Cricket Australia (CA) on Thursday night confirmed dates for the marquee India tour, with Brisbane locked in to host the first Test on December 3 before a day-night clash in Adelaide and the traditional Boxing Day and New Year's fixtures in Melbourne and Sydney.

Perth will receive the consolation prize of hosting the one-off inaugural Test against Afghanistan on November 21.

Yep except Root won't be Capt, Stokes instead which should be fun. Difficult to judge him on a performance after such a break and no crowd but i'm looking forward to it.
