Shame that's the end of day because a wicket or 2 would have been nice while keep the new ball in good shape.
Nonetheless, the Bokkes will have to do something amazing to win.

Well England won the toss and put the jaapies in. They finished with a flourish to set 257 for England to win (5.14rpo).
There was a VAR fuckup in the middle with a review first lost and then won, not that it made a huge difference.
Should be an interesting finale to a series England can only draw or lose.

YJB seems to have gotten over the CWC hit 43 off 22 balls so far, jinxed it now
A surprisingly easy victory, with 40 balls to spare. After an early England wobble I was expecting a traditional England collapse, but they coasted in the end.
Front-foot no-ball technology will be used at a major tournament for the first time in this month's women's Twenty20 World Cup in Australia.
Key points:
- The method, which sees the third umpire watching the front foot's landing, has been trialled in India and the West Indies
- It is currently the on-field umpire's job to call front-foot no balls
- David Warner was famously caught out on 99 during a 2017 Ashes Test before being recalled due to an overstep
The International Cricket Council (ICC) revealed the television umpire would monitor the landing foot of bowlers after every ball and immediately communicate to the on-field umpires whether it was a legal delivery.
The decision follows successful trials conducted across 12 games in both India and the West Indies, which saw 4,717 balls bowled and 13 no balls called. The ICC said all deliveries were judged accurately.
It is currently the responsibility of the on-field umpires to call no balls when a bowler oversteps the mark, but the third umpire can then review whether the bowler had any part of his or her foot behind the crease.

So it's been admitted after 400+ years that umpires can't actually do that part of the job properly.
Better late than never, I guess.
Let's just hope aleem daar isn't third umpire.
I don't believe that 'technical problems' guff for one minute.
Dar was on a smoko
Scanning the cricket scores this morning. The second division countries which i have been kinda following are going through an ODI series offer some interesting games. Nepal, my old stomping ground bowled out USA for 36. USA have turned in some good scores lately but won't be happy getting outscored by most junior league basketball teams.
It's a good idea. Once the technology comes in, bowlers will be forced to get it right and they'll be very few no balls, enough to stop using the technology and then...
There's an England-Jaapies T20 in an hour or so in case anyone's interested.
England chasing down 178, needing 67 off 50.
Roy is hitting it well. Morgan getting into it.
Should be a formality if they don't make any stupid mistakes, only need 8 and a bit an over.
Roy was on for a ton and then 'arry struck. Out for a fine 70...
I watched that and on the shot he got out on, after having already scored 14 off three balls Eng required a run a ball 7. You could see his reaction, basically he fuk'd up, no excuse why the remaining batsman couldn't get the remaining runs but as a Capt that was down to him. Poor.
Well it was a tremendous match again last night.
England slapped their way to a creditable 204 (the record run chase in Durban is 158).
The jaapies set off like they had a rocket up their arse and by halfway were looking good for a win (De Kock's 65 off 22 was sparkling).
But then the wheels fell off and it looked like England were going to win it handsomely. But some great last ditch batting got the jaapies within a whisker and England won it by 2 runs in the end.
Some brilliant fielding as well.
And so to tomorrow's decider we go.
^ It was great entertainment...I thought SA were going to win and then two wickets in the last 2 balls, having been hit for 6 moments earlier. Good bit of bowling under pressure...
I fuk'n hate SA...
The jaapies won the toss and bat

Morgan says he would have bowled anyway.
This is not looking good
Have to say in the short format you need accuracy and variation, Wood just doesn't cut it.
It won't be even close
