What about that Kohli ? He may be a nasty, arrogant little prik but his batting is top notch. And he responds to sledging by belting the ball all over and out of the park.

Yeah, he's a bit like Smith (an arrogant horrible prick! :)) except he can bat well too...
The Indians did show their knowledge of the T20 arena gained with all that IPL cricket; their running between the wickets and pacing of the innings was different class.
The jaapies are making a very good attempt at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
Ah it's OK they were toying with us.
Great start for England chasing 154 to win against the Sheep Shaggers.
37/0 off three overs.
Giving them a battering at the moment.
75/0 off 7.
Roy with a tidy half century off 26.
98/1 off the first 10, Roy still in with 73/37.
They need 56 off the remaining 10.
A cakewalk so far.
Suddenly three wickets down, golden quack for Morgan, 110/3. Sodhi is bowling some peaches.
44 off 46 reqd.
Back to smashing the ball around, did it with almost 3 overs to spare.
Off to Calcutta for the final.
:england:
Did you enjoy that 'Arry?
NZ are a very good side, and we gave them a pasting; good performance after NZ had an excellent first 10 overs.
Should be a good game tomorrow and a good final too. If India make it through then it could be chaos! On a different type of pitch for the final, you'd expect India to have the players to win it.
Good win by the Englishmen, the Kiwis will be devastated with that performance.
Will probably be an England / India final, for the Poms' sake let's hope Kohli does not fire again, surely he is due for a bad game.
^ come on Mickmac, the Convicts will have their fingers crossed for Kohli to have his best ever game! :) The Kiwis were set to put 200 on the board, but maybe because they'd played at other types of pitches and were used to very low scoring games, never kicked on...
England have done well, but been really fortunate with the group and the pitches they've played at (the same pitch 3 times, and one that suits their style of play). There was nothing between half a dozen teams in this tournament; India, at home, must be the favourites, and I wouldn't begrudge them the cup.
I'm not taking this T20 stuff too seriously, just like watching good games, and there's been loads of exciting games thusfar.
Fuck me that was funny.
But now it will be a final of Cricket and not cheating.
Well played the Windies, you are the team to beat without a doubt.
The Windies did well, chasing seems to be the way to play it for teams with strength in depth with the bat, so I'm going (like I successfully predicted for the semis) for the team that bats second to win the final.
I may just be a horrible bloke, but seeing that 6 to win the match of Kohli was beautiful... :)
Bb, you are thinking like a Thai now, imagining everyone thinks the same thoughts you do.Quote:

You seem to get as much enjoyment out of the Convicts losing as you do out of the Poms winning.
The only time I like to see English blood on the pitch is when the Ashes is on, don't really care how the Poms go against other sides, and I don't think I am the only "Convict" who thinks that way.
Anyway as far as Kohli is concerned the Poms can forget about him and start worrying about Lendl Simmons, Andre Russell, Johnson Charles and the WI version of Kohli, Chris Gayle if he goes off.
Hope it is a great game worthy of a World Cup final and good luck to both sides.
My son has taken an interest in cricket that he has never had before and was watching this stuff last night.
As a knowledgeable man, once Gayle was out I told him the Windies had no chance.
See... I told you this shit isn't real cricket.
Do they play Australia in the final?
^ So, you watched the game too, Bob, and you enjoyed it, and you're looking forward to the final; see, this T20 stuff isn't too bad... :)
That hurt!Quote:

I don't watch T20 or ODIs. Ever.
^ Finally something in sport we agree on,it is shit.
^ nutter! Will you be watching the Force pull off a shock victory today? :)
Oh, come on, LT - 1) you all love it up- the blurter; 2) it's only sport, I like Convicts and Convictland, but so many, unlike Mickmac and youse good self, are such terrible losers and such terrible winners that, in sport, that bright yellow and green combination is more than a tad offensive... :) 3) I love Eddie Jones, I want to adopt him and keep him in a box to bring out at parties and perhaps the occasional 'afternoon of lust'... :)Quote:

Tell me something without looking... who won the last series of T20 games between Australia and the West Indies?
I bet no one can answer that because it means nothing....
The Windies are in the laydees final as well, against the Convicts.
