    And your right for once.

The Australian side should have insisted on the 3 test series and not listened to their gutless administrators.

Although I do like One Dayers these games are nowhere near as enjoyable when compared to 5 day test matches.

Not exactly true...the evidence is that Kiwis are very interested in test cricket...but being a hard working lot cannot afford the time to go to a five day test...so they listen on the radio or cricinfo. It has been a few decades since I could take a week off work to watch a five day test...just heaven

Wow....so now Bruce says that Kiwis have a greater work ethic than everyone else......

How do you get these 3 games into a single weekend to make sure that these hard working folks don't take time off work?

Test fans are often different people to those who follow limited overs. I have trouble getting bothered by limited overs, it isn't really cricket.

There might be a few kiwis losing interest in limited overs stuff if NZ keep getting flogged as they were yesterday.

    What a turnaround from England!

Great crowd too - perhaps people have been working harder recently.

Seriously...England played New Zealand in a game of Quik Kricket yesterday.... who'd have known or cared.....

You can see why Bruce no longer cares, he seemed to care during the World Cup nonsense that went on a few months ago.....

Let me guess Bruce, they are all out of whack after all the Test cricket they have been playing....5555

Not too gripped by ODI cricket myself, and would gladly accept any deal that involved winning back the ashes and getting thrashed in odis for the next two years.

Still, a crushing England win still pleases me more than a thrashing...

Of course I do Bob and don't be silly.

Your reference to Gay Bath Houses confused me as I know nil about them.

    You obviously do!

Only a Taff could come up with such a term.

Now enough of your obvious gayness and get back to the cricket Bob.

Much criticism of McCullum down here...as usual when he gambles and loses...personally I,...and most true fans couldn't give a shit...if English cricket fans think they have turned the corner...sorry...that is really drawing a long bow

^ yes, you guys thrashed them in real cricket recently but they seem to have forgotten that. All good though, it makes them even funnier when they are cocky before we humiliate them - Did you know Alastair Cook is afraid of snakes and Ryan Harris and has reccuring nightmares about getting his castle smashed and eaten by them?? True story Bruce

Meanwhile in the West Indies Smith's purple patch continues with an unbeaten century . Davey boy went cheaply - as he usually does on decks where the ball moves around - as it does in England - bit of a worry actually ...

hahahaha... aguy retires because of age and injury, a guy not in the current England team and not likely to be ever again, a guy that hasn't played since July 2014 with his injuries and Wally [sic] tries to spin it as Ashes fear....hahahahaha.....

Ballance is certainly thinking about it, Anderson and Broad are in counselling and Stokes wets the bed..... they've all been Mitch'd eh Wally....

Sorry to see Prior retire - a gutsy player who never gave up. Involved in some truly memorable moments in English cricket history.

Never likely to be involved in a gay bath scene with a Freddie Mercury 'tache.

^ ha! You guys really hate Mitch don't you! Understandable - he pretty much humiliated and destroyed your team single handedly

Yes, I suppose Prior is a man's man in pommy terms. You see a lot of poms like him in Thailand - a nice pretty pink tan , lager in one hand and a bacon and egg burger in the other - and that distinct pommy look that comes from centuries of inbreeding . He is the face of Engerland

I hope that the Australian team read that BBC article "choir boy, golden boy, tractor boy" . The part about his recurring nightmares of snakes eating him was the funniest thing I have read in ages. I'm hoping the fielders in slips make "ssssssssssssssssss....I'm coming to eat you Alastair" snake noises.

I noticed the title of that article has now been changed - I'm thinking Alastair made sure "something was done about it" - just like he demanded something be done about Warnie critisising his negative captaining tactics ..

Glad you are enjoying my input Bob
