^India had another good day yesterday and are likely to post a respectable score.

Once again, Australia have shown how much they are dependent these days on Brett Lee being on fire. I feel rather sorry for Brett, there doesn't seem to be any support bowler around at the mo.

I suspect he misses the mentor role that Glen McGRae used to play for him....

To my mind the problem Australia have at the moment is the lack of a good spinner. Lee, Clark and Johnson will all take wickets in favorable conditions but the Indians have Kumble and the new kid Mishra in the side. There is no way there was going to be any help for the quicks on that pitch.

    393-3 at lumbir Gambhir 191, Laxman 104.

Gambhir could be the first even left handed opener to score a double hundred against Australia.

Looks like Zaheer was right after the first test when he said "We've established that Australia do not have the attack to take 20 wickets"

    They'd settle for 5 now.....

Tendulkar scores another 100 (109) and with India at 5/311, it is difficult to see (at this point) how Aus can get the must win result from this game.

Need something special to happen, otherwise its India's series.

England just lost their first wicket in the 3rd ODI against India, still a reasonable start though 80/1 from 14.5 overs.
