Ponting has an average of just over 52 runs per innings with Bradman 99.94 being on top and Kallis being second with just over 60 runs per innings.

Top 25 and a fantastic average considering the number of matches he has played (165) against prime bowling attacks.

Still a fine achievement, you won't find my name in the top 100!

Don't belittle yourself Bob. I reckon I could find your name in the "Top 100" of something or another.

Ponting was a right twat on occasions, getting beaten up in Kings Cross disco for acting like a prat for instance but there is no doubt that he was a great batsman on his day.

He couldn't even hold a candle for Alan Border and Steve Waugh when it come to captaincy though and I fear Clarke will be no better.

West Indies need 370 runs to win this final test match and draw the series.

They have started badly and are 1 wicket for no runs.

The only shinning light in a poor West Indies team over the last decade which makes his achievement even more impressive.

I am disappointed he got out along with Bravo as they batting together looked like they could win this game for the Windies.

Lovely, a bit of cricket, a cup of tea and biscuits and a play on me new Kindle while sending the missus out to do some cooking - she already cooked me a very nice chicken soup for lunch; I think this'll be a nice day.

Oh, Pirate Bay... I don't do that shite anymore after having me computer 100% fuked up 3 times over the last 18 months; these bastards like Sony/Microsoft/Amazon, etc do an excellent job of putting really nasty viruses upon these sites...

After the WI's easy series down under, they now know what it's like to face a decent team and look like getting hammered.

No, the series that WI's got hammered in by Australia was played on their home turf.

A win by 3 wickets, a draw and a win by 75 runs is not exactly a hammering.

A win by an innings and 157 runs or an innings and 71 runs is a hammering.
