    EPL TV in Thailand 2025/2026

In case you haven't seen it, Monomax (Jasmine) have been advertising their new rates for streaming premier league in place of True.

It's Bt299 a month just for sport (PL plus some shit like Takraw) or Bt2999 a year with lots of movies and TV thrown in.

    If you're an AIS customer it's Bt199 a month or Bt1999 a year.

These are promotional prices, so they may go up in August.

I went into 3BB yesterday and bought the year, it works fine on the phone but the app doesn't appear to be in the Play Store on my Shield so I sideloaded it.

Only one device at a time!

They have yet to decide commercial prices and promise them soon.

    Details:

    Package Terms and Conditions

    • Applicable to AIS postpaid, prepaid, and AIS Fibre 3 customers who are registered under an individual (non-corporate) name only.

    • PLAY MONOMAX Standard Monthly Package:
      • Special price of 199 THB (regular price 299 THB).

    • PLAY MONOMAX Standard Annual Package:
      • Special price of 1,999 THB (regular price 2,999 THB).

    • This special promotional price is available only for customers who subscribe between June 18, 2025, and August 9, 2025.
    • This price includes access to entertainment content such as movies, series, and variety shows, and also includes football content, such as the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, the Premier League (PL) 2025/2026 season and The Emirates FA Cup 2025.
    • Users can enjoy all 51 matches of the FIFA Club World Cup, all 380 matches of the Premier League, and all 63 matches of The Emirates FA Cup.
    • The specified prices include 7% VAT and exclude internet service fees.
    • Monomax entertainment contents include movies, series, and variety shows and will be available immediately upon package activation.
    • The FIFA Club World Cup content will be accessible starting June 18 at 11:00 PM or according to the official match schedule.
    • All matches of the Premier League 2025/2026 season and The Emirates FA Cup 2025 will also be fully available for viewing.
    • Monomax channels can be accessed via the Monomax app and AIS PLAY on one device at a time. AIS PLAY supports Android 4.4 and above, iOS 10.2 and above, and is also compatible with Apple TV, Android TV, Android Box, Samsung Smart TV (Tizen 5.5 and above), Chromecast, and AIS PLAYBOX for big-screen viewing.
    • Monomax application supports streaming on one device at a time and requires Android version 9.0 and above with Widevine DRM, or iOS version 14.2 and above. Supported devices include mobile phones, tablets, LG TVs (WebOS 4.0 and above), Android TV and Android Box (Samsung and Apple TV are currently in the process of updating the Monomax application)
    • At any given time, users can stream content from either the AIS PLAY or Monomax app but not both simultaneously.
    • Customers with 3BB GIGATV can watch entertainment content including movies, series, and variety shows, as well as sport content such as the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, the Premier League 2025/2026 season, and the FA Cup 2025 via AIS PLAY by logging in with AIS Reference Number starting with 888 or Monomax on one device at a time.
    • The offer is non-transferable in cases of service type changes (e.g., prepaid to postpaid, or vice versa), number porting, account ownership changes, or any other modifications.
    • Charges will apply upon successful subscription based on the stated terms. The company reserves the right not to provide refunds or compensation for unused periods or early cancellations. Services cannot be transferred to other user accounts.
    • Usage rights and the specified fees apply to domestic and personal use only. Commercial use or any activity that negatively affects other users is prohibited. Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or public distribution is strictly forbidden. If the company detects any illegal or improper use, it reserves the right to terminate the service immediately.
    • The company reserves the right to modify these terms without prior notice.
    • By using the service, users consent to the collection, use, and processing of their personal data by MIMO Tech Co., Ltd. and Mono Streaming Co., Ltd., strictly as necessary to provide the service. This includes, but is not limited to, account management, identity verification, after-sales support, and contract execution. All data will be handled in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) and the companies’ privacy policies.
    • Viewing through the 3BB GIGATV application and the 3BB GIGATV BOX is limited to domestic use only and must be for personal use. Commercial use or any activity that may impact other users is not permitted.
    • Service Cancellation Policy for AIS Customers**
      • For customers canceling a monthly package, services will terminate immediately, and access to sports content will be discontinued instantly.
      • For customers canceling an annual package, services will continue until the end of the current billing cycle, and access to sports content will remain available until that time.

    • Service Cancellation Policy for 3BB Customers
      • For customers canceling either monthly or annual packages, services will terminate immediately, and access to sports content will be discontinued instantly.

I just fired it up to look at the PSG-Bayern match.

Picture quality is excellent and the stream is rock solid.

    Promising.

They've also added a shitload of preseason friendlies to the list, too.

    PSG and Bayern great match.

Looks a deal and I have AIS phone , is it possible to cast to a big screen tv as I find football on a phone less enjoyable than my 65 inch inch flatscreen, I can cast from laptop but not tried from androuid phone .

    Is there a workaround?

Of course knowing how to turn on a computer is required. :-)

Knowing not to waste money pissing about with a computer for a substandard streaming experience when the TV might run the app natively helps, too.

There's a Bt999 4K Android TV stick you can plug into your TV as well.

Just finished setting up the MaxPlay "Stick".

It looks more like a small SSD.

But it works great, adaptive HDR, etc.

Put Wizz, Monomax, Tivimate, Kodi and Onstream on it.

    Works like a champ.

Compared pricewise to the Chromecast, Firestick, Mi Stick 4K, etc. it's a bargain!

Haven't tried Netflix because I don't use it.

Of course they've put the price up to Bt1,399 now.

    Still good value I'd say.

It's not easy remembering all of your puerile nicknames.

And by 'not easy' I mean 'who can be arsed'.

You seem to be having a particularly dreary, miserable day today, even by your admittedly mediocre standards.

Well they've had none of the first half so far.

And they'll wonder why people go for IPTV.

So they've managed to get it on for half time.

Let's see how long it lasts.

Has there been any improvement in the stick's performance?

Do you have to have an android TV?

I think I'll bypass Mao's 'solution from the last century'.

Yes. All those bugs during the Infantino Cringe "World Cup" have been ironed out. Like Netflix, it adapts in real time to the network connection so there are no interruptions (although I suspect the initial problems were down to overload).

I subscribed because (i) it's cheap and (ii) unlike IPTV it adapts to the network condition, so no buffering to speak of.

Do you have to have an android TV?
I have two, but the hardware on them for Android is very puny, so I'd never recommend it for streaming.

I think I'll bypass Mao's 'solution from the last century'.
    Wise. Very wise.

So the best alternative would be to get a streaming device, although the Maxplay AND the Mi Stick 4K seem to be sold out on both Lazada and Shopee.

They might have a Mi BOX 4K in one of the Mi Shops (Central) if you move fast.

I wouldn't bother with "HD" or "1080" as you'll be buying obsolete technology and you'll be throwing it out sooner rather than later.

I also can't vouch for the dozens of no-name 4K sticks on Shopee and Lazada, which doesn't mean they won't work but just that it's a huge gamble as to whether you get something as advertised, and it won't be supported.

    Are you an AIS customer?

If so, spring for the Bt2K year option, the missus will love you for all the Thai content and you get a bit of content in English thrown in.

I had to buy one of these. Be hysterical if it works. Needs a Firestick though.

I will report back if it's a win or money down the hong nam.
